I'm fighting back the tears as I remember back way too many years. Some of you probably didn't know that we were cousins. That means "close" in kid talk. Jim was always there for me anytime I needed a friend. We grew up together and our families went on vacations together.
High School followed and it was Jim who made sure all was well and even escorted me at the FFA dance. Later at the reunions he was first to find out how things were going. I will really miss him when we get together.

Jim and I grew up together. We attended sunday school together starting about 4 years old. We spent alot of time together at church and school. He was a great friend and mentor to my son, Heath, and was his bestman at his wedding and a pallbearer at his funeral. He was a great friend.
